I have a few questions: * will it remove the need for 301 or 302 redirect (e.g. www.domainname.com -> www.domainname.com/it) also? * is it assured that the sitemap generated by the google module will be correct after module application? Hello,
The module to "Remove iso code" removes the language iso code from default shop's language url.
so if your shop has Italian as a default language, the url will be changed from www.domainname.com/it to www.domainname.com
all visitors, even google bots etc. will be automatically redirected from www.domainname.com/it ito www.domainname.com
sitemap will also contain new urls (url without default shop's language iso code). the rest urls (for other languages) will have iso code as it is by default.
