Zalando FCI requires ean number in feed with products for each item in feed.
this is required to identify what product inventory zalando should update.

sure, this module follows official zalando's documentation of FCI integration.
Our fashion connector importer module so called "FCI module" uses an EAN number to identify products
this is the only one possible way on zalando to update inventory.
